| Useful | Flexible LED strips can be used for interior decoration. Each strip presents a flexible string of SMD diodes on a circuit board. The bases of the plate are covered with special 3M adhesive tape for better mounting. You can cut the strip into pieces at every 5 cm. so that each one contains minimum 3 light diodes. It’s quite convenient as the cut line is clearly marked, and it’s possible to join several pieces together observing the polarity. Flexible LED strips are quite universal and can be used for interior illumination and decorative lighting; they offer an original alternative to enhance ledges, architectural contours and elements, shelves and niches. They are small in size, bright, yet don’t consume much energy, and of safe voltage (12V). Such strips are also widely used in the outside advertisement boards to enhance the message. The number 3528, 5050 etc. shows the size of SMD chips in millimeters – 3.5 mm x 2.8 mm, 5 mm x 5 mm. The LED strips in bigger size gives better illuminating. You can also choose between waterproof (IR Rating IP65) and non-waterproof (IP Rating 20) LED strips. |

| Power supply | The wattage of the LED strips is given by meter. You need power supply for all LED strips. Depending on the length of the LED strip you need, you can calculate the wattage of the power supply you need. For example, if you have chosen a strip with wattage – 10W per meter and you need 15 meters (3 rolls, 5 meter each) the way to see which power supply you need is multiplying the wattage of the strip per the meters you need. In our example, it will be 10W x 15 meters = 150W. The power supply has to be minimum 150W, it is always good to add around 20% on top of the total wattage in order to make sure the power will be enough. |
